Daily operating hours
- All MRT and LRT lines: trains run from around 5:30am until just past midnight, daily. Outside that window every line above shows as "Not in service".
- Exact first/last trains vary by station: the first train from one end of a line can leave 30-40 minutes earlier or later than from the other end, and Sundays/public holidays typically start about 25-30 minutes later than weekdays. This page shows one network-wide approximation, not a per-station timetable.
- One-off late nights (New Year's Eve, National Day) aren't reflected here — LTA announces those separately closer to the date.
Approximate figures compiled from published first/last train times; LTA does not publish a live "network open" signal via DataMall. Check the SMRT/SBS Transit apps or individual station signage for your exact train's timing.
Free & discounted early rides
- Any line, islandwide: tap in before 7:45am on a weekday and get up to 50¢ off that trip — LTA's Morning Pre-Peak Fares Scheme.
