Camera images come straight from LTA's traffic camera network — the same feed LTA's own TrafficSG service publishes. Woodlands and Tuas (Second Link) are the two land checkpoints into Malaysia, so their queue length is often the first sign of a long causeway crossing before you leave the house. Each image link expires five minutes after it's issued, which is why this page keeps re-fetching in the background rather than caching a single snapshot — what you see should always be within the last 60 seconds. Expressway cameras cover the PIE, CTE, AYE, ECP, KPE, SLE, BKE, TPE, KJE and MCE.
